Position name: Environmental Assessment & Verification Specialist

What we are looking for:
Exceptionally skilled and ambitious individuals to join us as Carbon Assessment & Verification Specialist.

Key responsibilities
This is a full time/remote position. You will work collaboratively network of national and international consultants, brand partners and suppliers in South Asia. You need to be familiar with:
• Conduct thorough assessments of the carbon footprint associated with textile and footwear manufacturing processes.
• Validation of carbon footprint data and development of strategies for carbon emissions.
• Validate Water consumption data and analyse it to optimize water usage across the textile manufacturing process.
• The optimization aims to enhance efficiency and reduce water usage.
• Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and flexible availability to meet the team’s needs across different regions are essential.

Qualifications

Educational Background
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Textile Engineering, Sustainability or a related field.
• Advance degree or certification in carbon audit or water management and Carbon footprint analysis are advantageous.
Experience
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience of carbon footprint analysis, Environmental audits or Energy audits within the textile and footwear or similar manufacturing environments.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in textile wet processing, water management & treatment technologies, process optimization & carbon footprint calculation methods.

Communication Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Skills to prepare reports
• Engage with stakeholders and clients.
Preferred Qualifications
• Accredited Higg FEM Verifier
• Certified Energy Auditor
• Approved Higg FEM Trainer
